Max K. Ryujin
Max Ryujin is currently an instructor for the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS® for the Equal Opportunity Housing classes. He received a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Finance for Weber State College and has a variety of Real Estate Experiences. He has been a REO/Foreclosure Broker since 1983 and has had over 600 foreclosed properties since that time. Max is very active in the Real Estate Community both national and local.
In 1999 Max received the Distinguished Service Award "Omega Tau Rho" from the National Association of REALTORS® . He is currently a certified instructor for "Cultural Diversity", has been the Chairman for the Fair Housing Partnership Working Group which successfully negotiated "Fair Housing Partnership" with HUD and NAR from the VAMA. He has been the chairman of the Equal Opportunity Committee, VAMA Team, Fair Housing Forum and a member of several other committees.
For the State of Utah, Max has taught several classes including "Risk Reduction, Fair Housing and Toady’s Liability", "Providing Equal and Professional Service", previous Core Course involving the REPC, and "At Home with Diversity". He was the Chairman and member of the Anti-Discrimination Division and is an expert witness for the State of Utah on Fair Housing.
The Utah Association of REALTORS® presented Max with the Educator of the Year award in 1999, REALTOR® of the year in 1998 and Presidents Award in 1989. He has been President of the UAR Housing Opportunity Fund, Director of the UAR, Chairman for the Statement of Policy and Equal Opportunity Committee; member of the Housing needs committee and a current instructor for Equal Opportunity.
Max Ryujin resides in Ogden and is very active in the Ogden Board of REALTORS® as well. He has received the President’s Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ogden Board. He is a life time member of the Sales Master Club. He has been President, Director, and Chairman for the Ogden Board and on the Executive Committee for a couple of years. He has served as a member of several committees and currently is an instructor for the Orientation and Equal Opportunity Continuing Education for the Ogden Board. He is also very active in the Ogden City community serving on several committees and Associations associated with Multi-Cultural issues, Business development, Citizens advisories, and Fair housing. He is a member of the Real Estate Educators Association and an instructor for Pre-licensing for the Stringham School of Real Estate.
