How To Join FAQs
No, you do not have to join the board, but if you have placed your license with a broker who is a member of the board, you do have to pay the Annual Dues, whether you choose to join or not. You have 30 days from when your license is placed with the member broker to turn in the Membership Form and pay the dues. Failure to do so could result in the broker getting fined. If you do decide to join the board, you will pay the dues plus the $350 entry fee. See rate chart.

If you have been terminated from the
board for over 1 year, you will have to
apply as a new member and pay the initial
fees again ($350 entry fee and dues).
You will need to complete the "Membership
Form" and have your broker sign it. If
you have been terminated for over 1 year,
but have been paying the "inactive fee"
of $75 each year, you will not have to
pay the $350 entry fee. You will only
need to complete the "Membership Form"
and pay the prorated annual dues for the
current year. If you have been terminated
for less than 1 year, complete the "Membership
Form" and have your broker sign it. You
will need to pay the prorated annual dues
if they have not been paid during the
current calendar year. If your dues have
been paid for the current year, then there
is no fee to reinstate.
