An Open House Like No Other

KUTV Channel 2 News reported on the April 10 statewide open house event.

"Time is running out for those firstk-time home buyers wanting to get an extra $8,000 from the federal government," the segment reported. "Sixteen hundred homes will be open up to the public tomorrow."

Bill Heiner, president of the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS, was quoted as saying that the Salt Lake area had been "skipping along the bottom for the last four or five months," but that a turnaround in sales was underway.
