Cumbersome Short Sales Often The Only Route For a Home Seller In Trouble

The Salt Lake Tribune ran a feature story on the reasons why home owners have to short sell their homes.

Mary Olsen of Keller Williams South Valley Realty and a member of the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS was quoted in the story as saying she is no longer surprised to see one, two or even three mortgages on a home.

"A few years ago everybody was using their homes as an ATM machine," she said.
