Eight-Month Supply of Houses in Salt Lake County
ABC 4 News reported that there is an eight-month supply of homes for
sale in Salt Lake County. "Right now the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS
says there are 7,307 active listings," the story noted.
The news segment quoted Bill Heiner, President of the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS, as saying that first-time home buyers were driving sales.
In May there were 1,237 homes and condos sold in Salt Lake County, a 21 percent increase compared to 1,020 sales in the same month last year.
