Radio station KUER 90.1 reported on July 29 that home sales in Salt
Lake County in June were nearly unchanged compared to the same month
last year. However, home prices (all housing types) fell 12 percent in
June.
Falling home prices translate to better deals for home buyers. Nearly 70 percent of all home sales in Salt Lake County in June sold for less than $250,000. Last year 62 percent of all homes sold in June sold for less than $250,000.
