Rising Home Prices: A Welcome Change
Bryan Kohler, CEO of the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS, analyzed housing
prices in a column in Salt Lake City Weekly. Kohler's column focused on
rising home prices across many U.S. cities. Here in Salt Lake City home
prices are still falling. However, Kohler noted that a handful of Salt
Lake municipalities are seeing house-price increases, including Draper,
South Salt Lake, West Valley City and Holladay.
"If you are a first-time home buyer, take notice," Kohler said. "Prices here are close to reaching bottom, and if you wait too long you may miss an opportunity."
