S.L. County Home Prices Sliding

The Deseret News reported that Salt Lake County's median home prices fell to $200,000 in May, down 11 percent compared to a median price of $225,000 in May 2009.

"Regardless, residential sales increased 24 percent for the first five months of this year, compared to the same period of 2009," the story said. "That finding exceeds the predictions of University of Utah researcher Jim Wood, who in January predicted home sales would be up 10 percent by the end of 2010."
