Woman Fighting Bank

KSL-TV featured a South Jordan woman who stands to lose her home in foreclosure following the death of her husband. Andrea Dailey said her name was not on the deed or the mortgage of the home. Since her husband died more than a year ago without leaving a will, Dailey has been trying to buy the home from Bank of America, but the bank won't work with her and is instead selling her home in a foreclosure sale.

The Salt Lake Board of REALTORS was quoted in the story as saying it is in the interest of banks to work with a homeowner.
